BPG Baiyun Electric Wins U.S. Order for Eight Large Power Transformers,
Achieving a Scale Breakthrough in North America
July 4, 2026
From its first breakthrough to a large-scale follow-up order, Baiyun Electric has taken another important step forward in the North American power market.
Following the successful delivery of its first 138 kV transformer project in the United States in 2025, Zhejiang Baiyun Zhebian Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baiyun Electric, has secured two additional major power transformer projects in the U.S., covering a total of eight large power transformers.
The newly awarded projects include:
Texas 130 MVA Transformer Expansion Project
— 2 units of SF-130000/138 transformers;
Hannibal, Missouri 180 MVA Transformer Project
— 6 units of SF-180000/138 transformers.
The order marks Baiyun Electric’s transition in the U.S. market from an initial project breakthrough to repeat business and larger-scale procurement, representing another important milestone in the Group’s expansion in North America.
Repeat Orders Reflect Customer Confidence in Delivery Performance
Sustainable competitiveness is not demonstrated by winning a project once, but by earning the customer’s continued trust and repeat orders.
The latest projects were awarded by the same customer group as Baiyun Electric’s first U.S. transformer project. Following the successful delivery and stable operation of the previous equipment, the customer once again selected Baiyun Electric for its core transformer requirements.

This repeat order represents more than the continuation of an existing project relationship. It reflects the customer’s recognition of Baiyun Electric’s product performance, delivery reliability and overseas service capabilities. Through repeated project cooperation, the company is gradually evolving from an equipment supplier into a long-term partner within the customer’s supply chain.
One-Stop Delivery Across the International Project Value Chain
The new projects will continue to adopt a one-stop service model covering
DDP delivery, on-site installation and commissioning ,
demonstrating Baiyun Electric’s increasingly mature end-to-end project delivery capabilities.
These capabilities include:
High-end transformer design and manufacturing;
Cross-border logistics and international project delivery;
Overseas installation, commissioning and technical services.
The project therefore represents more than the export of individual pieces of equipment. It demonstrates Baiyun Electric’s ability to provide integrated solutions covering manufacturing, international transportation, site installation and technical support.

Continuous Technical Upgrades for U.S. Market Requirements
The U.S. power market places stringent requirements on transformer performance and reliability. Building on previous project experience, the new transformers will incorporate further technical improvements to meet local operating requirements.
Key areas of improvement include:
These improvements are designed to ensure safe and stable long-term operation under complex operating conditions.

Advancing from Market Entry to Scale Growth in North America
In less than a year, Baiyun Electric has progressed from delivering its first 138 kV transformer project in the United States to securing a batch order for eight large power transformers.
This development represents more than a business milestone for the company. It is also another example of Chinese high-end power equipment strengthening its position in international markets.
In high-end global markets, sustainable growth ultimately depends on proven capabilities and successful project results. Baiyun Electric is demonstrating through each benchmark project that Chinese manufacturing is not only capable of entering demanding international markets, but also of earning repeat business and establishing long-term customer relationships.
Looking ahead, Baiyun Electric will continue to strengthen its technological capabilities, international project delivery system and localized service capabilities, accelerating its development across global power markets.
