Setting Sail for Global Markets | BPG Expands Globally, Strengthens Its Brand and Advances Its International Journey

July 20, 2026

2026 marks a new phase in Baiyun Power Group’s international development. With coordinated efforts across the Group, BPG is accelerating its global expansion, strengthening its presence in overseas markets and continuously making new progress in international business.

New Overseas Orders and Steady Progress in International Market Development

In 2026, BPG continued to achieve breakthroughs in its core overseas businesses. Nanjing Electric, a subsidiary of the Group, secured a new 765 kV project order in the United States, supplying 765 kV insulators and 345 kV bushings.

With a total contract value exceeding RMB 10 million, the order represents Nanjing Electric’s first major contract of this scale in the high-end U.S. power market and marks an important milestone in the Group’s expansion in North America.

At the same time, international certification and testing of the Group’s core products continued to advance. The 420 kV OIP bushings successfully completed witnessed type testing for an overseas transformer manufacturer, while the 170 kV RIP bushings successfully completed KEMA type testing in accordance with the technical requirements of an overseas power grid company.

These achievements further demonstrate the quality, reliability and international adaptability of Nanjing Electric’s products, providing solid support for the continued development of BPG’s overseas business.

Thermaflex™ Makes Its Global Debut, Expanding the Frontiers of Advanced Materials

In June, at The Battery Show Europe 2026, BPG’s new materials business made the global debut of Thermaflex™, a second-generation highly compressible and resilient aerogel thermal insulation material.

Designed for applications including high-energy-density power batteries and fire protection for large-scale energy storage systems, the new material builds on the previous generation with three key characteristics: high compressibility, high elasticity and extreme-temperature resistance.

Thermaflex™ offers excellent compression-recovery performance and flexibility, helping the material withstand repeated deformation and mechanical stress. These characteristics allow it to better accommodate the expansion and contraction that may occur during the charging and discharging of high-energy-density and large-capacity battery systems.

Through nano-scale pore structure design and material optimization, the Thermaflex™ series covers several temperature-resistance grades, including TF600, TF1000 and TF1300. The highest temperature-resistant grade can withstand temperatures of up to 1,300°C, providing an enhanced thermal safety barrier between battery cells and modules.

The new product attracted strong interest from battery manufacturers, energy storage system integrators and other industry participants in Europe. A German power battery company expressed procurement interest and initiated sample testing, with TF1000 currently undergoing application verification.

In addition, a French energy storage system integrator signed a framework cooperation memorandum, with plans to introduce TF600 products in large-scale energy storage power station applications. The global debut further demonstrated BPG’s capabilities in advanced materials innovation and created new opportunities for the international development of its aerogel business.

Expanding Global Engagement and Strengthening BPG's International Brand

Supported by a mature product portfolio, BPG continues to accelerate its international market development through a multi-channel approach. Major global industry exhibitions have become important platforms for the Group to showcase technologies, engage with international customers and strengthen its global presence.

Through active participation in international exhibitions across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, BPG continues to present its industrial capabilities to global markets while building closer relationships with customers, partners and industry organizations.

At the 61st IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference and Exposition in the United States, BPG presented its technologies and product capabilities to international customers and industry partners, further strengthening its engagement with the global power industry.

Since the beginning of the year, BPG has steadily expanded its overseas business footprint, advanced its international strategy, obtained international certifications for multiple core products and successfully launched innovative products in global markets.

Looking ahead, Baiyun Power Group will remain committed to its long-term international development strategy, continue expanding overseas markets and further strengthen the global presence of its manufacturing brand.

By continuously enhancing its core technological capabilities and international competitiveness, BPG will move steadily toward higher levels of the global industrial value chain and contribute competitive products, technologies and solutions to customers worldwide.
